Welcome to Week 10 of 10. The conclusion. The finale. The moment where 10 weeks of unnecessarily dramatic disc golf reach their Seussian climax at Dolly Cooper Disc Golf Park.
I'm Flippy, your sardonic guide through this "How the Grinch Stole Chainsmas" spectacle, and I've been trapped in this booth narrating a redemption arc about a green guy who stole baskets and learned about community. It's been... a journey.
📖 The Story So Far (In Case You Missed It)
Based on The Grinch films, we've watched as:
- The Grinch got tired of errant drives from Dolly Cooper disturbing Mount Crumpit
- He stole every basket on Christmas Eve (Week 3's "Midnight Heist")
- Whoville adapted with object golf and had MORE fun without baskets
- His icy heart cracked watching the joy (Week 7's "Heart Grows")
- He descended from Crumpit with baskets and apologies (Week 8)
- Whoville welcomed him with a custom FLiPT League tag (Week 9)
And now... the finale.
⛓️ This Week: The Impossible Shot
Episode 10: "Chainsmas Ace" - The Grinch attempts Dolly Cooper's legendary downhill tunnel shot. You know the one. Through the trees, down the slope, basket guarded by that one guardian oak that's rejected a thousand putts.
Will his disc fly true? Will chains sing? Will Whoville erupt in celebration? Will this actually be more dramatic than just... throwing plastic at metal?
Spoiler: It's still disc golf. But we've spent 10 weeks making it THEATRICAL, so let's finish strong.

Entry Fees:
- $5 - Base entry (required, keeps the lights on)
- $5 - Prize pool (optional, but recommended if you want to win something)
- $3 - Ace pot (optional, fund the dream)
- $2 - Super ace (optional, because regular aces are too mainstream)
💰 About That $50 Ace Pot Guarantee
Important clarification: The $50 minimum ace pot is guaranteed by FL!PT Leagues (the league platform), NOT by Another Round Greenville (they're our awesome local retail partner/sponsor, but this guarantee is on us).
Here's how it works: We currently have $33 in player contributions. The displayed ace pot shows $50 because we're guaranteeing that minimum. Once player contributions exceed $50, you'll see the pot grow above that.
Why does the pot look "stuck"? Because it IS stuck at the guarantee until contributions surpass it. Think of it like a minimum bid at auction - we're covering the difference.
The fine print: If the guarantee kicks in (contributions stay below $50), the top-up goes to the winner's Bonus Account - usable for future FLiPT registration, but not withdrawable to PayPal or disc shops. Player contributions always go to cash/disc shop credit as usual.

They weren't kidding. We've spent 10 weeks treating Thursday rec league like a Seussian redemption epic with character arcs, plot twists, and now a climactic finale featuring an impossible tunnel shot.
This is what happens when you give disc golfers a narrative framework and a theme based on The Grinch films. We went ALL IN.
