- Service: The FL!PT Leagues League Management System platform and website

1.1 Roles of the Parties
FL!PT Leagues provides technology, not leagues. Leagues offered through the Service are organized, hosted, and operated by independent League Directors. Except where FL!PT Leagues is expressly identified as the League Director, FL!PT Leagues is not the organizer, host, promoter, or provider of any League, and does not offer participation in any League on its own behalf.
- The League Director creates the League and sets its entry fee, payout structure, schedule, format, divisions, and eligibility, within any limits published through the Service.
- The League Director administers play and decides refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, and rule interpretations for that League.
- FL!PT Leagues provides the Platform Services and, as a disclosed limited agent of the League Director for this purpose only, collects Player payments and disburses amounts to the League Director, to Players, and to the other recipients identified in the Player's price breakdown.
- FL!PT Leagues's own compensation is the separately stated platform or operational fee shown in the price breakdown at checkout. Amounts collected for entry, payouts, pools, PDGA fees, course funds, and League Director compensation are collected for, and belong to, those recipients.
Where FL!PT Leagues organizes a League itself, it is identified as the League Director for that League and Section 7 applies to it in that capacity.

Amounts collected as prize pools, payouts, ace pots, super ace pots, skins, CTP pools, and course funds are Custodial Funds. FL!PT Leagues receives and holds these amounts for distribution to the Players who earn them or to the designated course fund recipient.

4.3 Course Fund Disbursement Eligibility

- Recipient must be a United States–based nonprofit organization in good standing (e.g., IRS‑recognized 501(c)(3)).
- An Employer Identification Number (EIN), legal name, and contact information are required for verification.
- Reimbursement only: projects must be fully completed and supporting proof (receipts, photos, or equivalent documentation) must be submitted and verified before any funds are released.
- Funds must be used exclusively for documented course improvements or maintenance at the designated course(s).
- Funds are held in course-specific escrow accounts with publicly viewable balances and transaction history so contributors can see what is available and how it was spent.
- FL!PT Leagues may require documentation (e.g., IRS determination letter, receipts) and may deny or reverse approvals if eligibility cannot be verified.
Direct payments to individuals are not permitted from course funds. All disbursements go to the verified nonprofit organization.

7. League Director Agreement
This Section 7 is an agreement between FL!PT Leagues and each League Director, in addition to the remainder of these Terms. By creating or administering a League through the Service, you accept this Section 7. If you identify a club or organization as the League Director, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
For a partnered national program, the organization identified in the onboarding record is the organizer and provider of record. An authorized organization representative may accept this Section 7 on the organization's behalf. A selected local administrator or TD destination payee administers the local league and receives the applicable destination amount, but does not thereby become the organizer/provider or indemnitor under Section 7; a separate payee/tax acknowledgement may apply. Partnered-program wording is subject to counsel review.
7.1 Your Role
- You are the organizer, host, and provider of your League
- You determine your League's entry fee, your own compensation, payout structure, schedule, format, divisions, eligibility, and rules, within any limits published through the Service
- FL!PT Leagues provides the Platform Services and collects Player payments as your disclosed limited agent for that purpose only
- You are an independent contractor. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, franchise, or employment relationship, and the collection agency described above is limited to the receipt and disbursement of Player payments
- You may not describe your League as organized, sponsored, or provided by FL!PT Leagues, or use FL!PT Leagues branding in a way that suggests FL!PT Leagues is the provider of your League
7.2 Your Authority
- Final authority on rule interpretations
- May remove players for misconduct
- May adjust prizes for special circumstances
- Authority to cancel or reschedule events
- Authority to approve refunds outside the standard refund policy in Section 5
7.3 Your Responsibilities
- Obtaining permission to use the course or property and any permit or license required to hold your League
- Complying with the law applicable where your League is held, including any contest, prize, sweepstakes, gaming, and consumer protection requirements
- Accurately describing your League, its fees, and what a Player receives for those fees
- Conducting your League safely and according to its published rules
- Maintaining active PDGA membership and complying with PDGA rules for sanctioned events
- Ensuring that anyone assisting you with your League complies with these Terms
- Responding promptly to Player questions and disputes concerning your League
- Determining whether you require liability or event insurance for your League and obtaining it if so
7.4 Taxes
- You are responsible for all income and self-employment taxes on compensation you receive through the Service. FL!PT Leagues does not withhold taxes from League Director compensation and may issue information returns as required by law
- As provider of your League, you are responsible for determining and satisfying any transaction tax obligation arising from your League, except where applicable law places the collection obligation on FL!PT Leagues as a marketplace facilitator or platform
- Where FL!PT Leagues determines it is required to collect and remit a transaction tax on your League, it may do so and will make the amount visible in the price breakdown
- You will provide information FL!PT Leagues reasonably requests to determine, report, or substantiate a tax position, including documentation supporting any exemption you claim
7.5 Indemnification
You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FL!PT Leagues and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, penalty, tax assessment, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
- The organization, promotion, conduct, or cancellation of your League
- Injury to any person or damage to any property in connection with your League
- Your breach of these Terms or of any representation you make through the Service
- Your violation of any law, rule, permit, or third-party right
- Any tax obligation allocated to you under Section 7.4
- Any statement you make about your League, its prizes, or FL!PT Leagues
FL!PT Leagues may participate in the defense with counsel of its choosing at its own expense. You will not settle any claim in a way that imposes an obligation on FL!PT Leagues or admits fault on its behalf without its prior written consent.
7.6 Suspension and Termination
- Either party may end this Section 7 at any time as to future Leagues
- FL!PT Leagues may suspend or remove a League, or a League Director's access, where it reasonably believes there is a breach of these Terms, a risk to Player safety, or a legal or regulatory risk
- On suspension or termination, Custodial Funds already collected will be distributed according to the League's published payout structure, or refunded to Players where the League does not proceed
- Sections 7.4, 7.5, and 10 survive termination
8. Privacy and Data
- Player information used only for league operations
- PDGA numbers stored for ratings and divisions
- Payment information encrypted and secured
- Tax information stored securely and separately
9. Prohibited Activities
- Manipulate scores or results

9.1 User-Generated Content and Community Safety
FL!PT Leagues has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. User-generated content includes profile names, usernames, biographies, profile images, and other information a user makes visible through the Service.
Users may not post or transmit content that harasses, threatens, bullies, stalks, targets another person or group, contains hate speech, discriminatory slurs, sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or promotes illegal activity, self-harm, fraud, impersonation, or abuse.
We use automated text and image screening to filter objectionable profile content before it is published. Users can report a profile from the app; reports notify the FL!PT Leagues moderation team and are reviewed within 24 hours. When a report is substantiated, we remove the offending content and suspend or eject the user who provided it.
Users can block another user from that person's profile. Blocking removes the blocked user's profile content and relationship immediately and also notifies the moderation team for review.
9.2 Rating Integrity and 888 Policy
PDGA 888 Rule Enforcement
FL!PT Leagues strictly enforces the PDGA "888" rule for ratings manipulation and incomplete rounds:
- Players who start but do not complete rounds without league director approval will receive an 888 score
- Players who demonstrate pattern of intentional poor play to manipulate ratings will receive an 888 score
- Players who leave during a round without notifying their group or league officials will receive an 888 score
- The 888 code indicates the round is not counted for ratings purposes
Penalties for Violations
- First violation: Warning from FL!PT Leagues system administrators
- Second violation: 30-day probation on FL!PT Leagues platform
- Third violation: 60-day suspension from FL!PT Leagues leagues
- Fourth violation: 6-month suspension from FL!PT Leagues leagues
- Fifth violation: Permanent ban from FL!PT Leagues platform
Additional Consequences
Please note that 888 violations are also subject to PDGA disciplinary action as outlined in the PDGA Disciplinary Policy and Process (Section IV.B.2.d), which may result in probation or suspension from PDGA events independent of FL!PT Leagues penalties.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
10.1 No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

- Weather-related cancellations or course conditions
- Disputes over rules, scoring, results, standings, or payouts within a League

10.3 Assumption of Risk
Disc golf is a physical outdoor activity carrying inherent risks, including risk of injury from thrown discs, terrain, wildlife, and weather. By participating in a League you accept those risks and agree that FL!PT Leagues is not liable for them.
10.4 Exclusion of Damages
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FL!PT Leagues WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
10.5 Limitation of Amount
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FL!PT Leagues'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL PLATFORM AND OPERATIONAL FEES FL!PT Leagues RETAINED FROM YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
This limitation does not apply to Custodial Funds properly owed to you under Section 4.5, which remain payable in full.
10.6 Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where those laws apply, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to Terms
FL!PT Leagues reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via:
- Email notification
- System announcement
- Website notice

13. Effective Date
These Terms of Service are effective as of August 18, 2026.
Previous versions of these terms remain available upon request.
14. Geographic Availability and Restricted Jurisdictions
Paid skins games and other pooled-entry cash contests offered through the Service are not available to residents of, or for events located in, the following U.S. states: Florida, Washington, Hawaii, South Carolina, and Arkansas (the "Restricted States"). The Service will not enable creation, entry, payment, or payout for these features in the Restricted States.
In addition, certain states require operator registration or licensing for paid skill contests. In those jurisdictions the Service may be temporarily unavailable for paid skins or similar features unless and until the appropriate registration or license is obtained. We may geo‑restrict or disable functionality accordingly.
- Eligibility is determined by both the event location and the participant's location at the time of payment or payout.
- The Service may use geo‑location and account information to enforce these restrictions.
- All features are void where prohibited by law.
15. Third-Party Data and Services
The Service incorporates data and services from third-party providers to enhance functionality:
- IP Geolocation: This product includes GeoLite2 Data created by MaxMind, available from https://www.maxmind.com. This data is used solely to determine approximate geographic location for displaying nearby leagues and events. IP-based geolocation provides city or postal code level accuracy only and is not used to identify specific addresses or individuals.
- PDGA Integration: Player ratings and membership data provided by the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA).
16. Governing Law and Disputes
16.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
16.2 Informal Resolution First
Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at support@fliptleagues.com with a written description of the dispute and to work with us in good faith for at least thirty (30) days to resolve it. Most disputes can be resolved this way.
16.3 Venue
You and FL!PT Leagues consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.
16.4 Time to Bring a Claim
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.
