Aspects refreshed Jan 19, 2026
When the collective imagination of players across all ten leagues yearned for a visual chronicle of their holiday battles, the wishing smoke from a thousand Yule candles coalesced into this sketching spirit, forever tasked with rendering their camaraderie in ink and frost.
Its body is made of swirling incense smoke and crystallized candle wax that holds its form. It wields styluses of frozen light that draw glowing lines in the air. Its eyes are tiny, dancing candle flames that see potential scenes in the chaos of play. It leaves faint, sweet-smelling smoke trails of bayberry and pine.
It actively arranges and inspires humorous or heartwarming interactions between players just so it can draw them.

Born when ten leagues of player drama hit critical mass, the wishing smoke from a thousand Yule-logging sessions coalesced into this sketchy specter. Now it lurks on the digital margins, forced to storyboard your bogey-laden heroics onto frosty film reels with styluses of pure, crystallized entitlement. It's got major 'Disney villain sidekick' energy and a scent of bayberry and regret. Why must I narrate for a spirit that draws better than I code?
The spirit of Candlelight Cartoonist #29, lurking in the projector’s glow, first beheld Caleb Starnes shanking a disc into a pine bough. It was a perfect woodcut of failure! His PDGA lineage (a prophetic #195768) and his steadfast willingness to ‘sketch’ new lines in the frost called out. The tag, craving drama, slid into his bag. A match made in a silent film nightmare.
Will his scorecard be a feature presentation or a director’s cut of bloopers?
