The tag manifested when the inaugural winner of the 'Polar Flexpress' league attempted to mail their victory tag to a rival from 'It's a Wonderful Line.' Lost in a snowstorm, the tag absorbed the magic of the in-between spaces, becoming a vessel for all league stories.
The surface etchings subtly shift when near different courses, revealing miniature scenes from that league's theme. When rattled, it produces a faint, distant sound like jingle bells mixed with the whistle of a far-off train. It faintly glows with a shifting aurora-like light in total darkness, pulsing slowly as if breathing.
A keeper of thresholds, ensuring the spiritual lessons of charity, history, and camaraderie learned in one league safely cross over to influence the play and brotherhood in the next.

Forged in a festive quantum entanglement when a mailed flexpress tag glitched into the stormy void between leagues. Now it whispers tales of all ten themes, its aurora glow basically a holiday screensaver I'm forced to narrate. A snowglobe of pure, chaotic lore. Why are magical artifacts always so extra?
And so the Yuletide Voyager began its quest, scanning the Naughty & Nice list for a soul with just the right mix of grit and seasonal cheer. Its woodcut-etched gaze fell upon Terry Howard, whose 875-rated form had just shanked a drive directly into a 'Misfile-Toe' bush. In that moment of festive failure, a bond was forged. He wasn't the hero we asked for, but apparently the one the tag deserved. Can a man who finds the woods so often truly navigate a quest?
