Baroque Gold Filigree Pixelated Warnings Fade to Silence Stability Means Invisible

Aspects refreshed Apr 27, 2026

The Phantom Arc was born from the Corrupted Codex's original Arc Protocol - an optimization system designed to guide competitor throws toward ideal trajectories before the first corruption wave swept through the simulation. When the decay began, this guidance system destabilized along with everything else, transforming from a helpful flight assistant into a spectral echo trapped between rendering and deletion. Now it persists as the ghost of what optimal play looked like, appearing to competitors whose code is destabilizing as a visible warning that their own arcs will soon fragment if resolution is not maintained.

A translucent golden disc outline approximately twice the size of a regulation disc, glowing with pulsing cyan points that flicker like dying stars. The disc maintains a perfect parabolic arc trajectory even through corrupted terrain, phasing in and out of visibility as it travels. Glitch artifacts fragment along its edges, shedding pixelated pieces that dissolve into binary symbols. Fiber-optic trails extend behind its flight path, leaving lingering afterimages that slowly pixelate and fade into the corrupted data streams. Baroque gold filigree patterns trace along its circumference, pulsing brighter when the arc is stable and dimming to static when code destabilization approaches deletion threshold.

The Phantom Arc serves as the Corrupted Codex's corrupted flight guidance system - a spectral trajectory that represents each competitor's ideal throw path. When a competitor's code is stable, their Phantom Arc renders clearly with strong golden edges and bright cyan pulses. When code destabilizes, the Arc begins to fragment and dissolve, providing visible warning that deletion approaches within days. This creates a constant connection between all competitors, as every throw leaves its Phantom Arc trailing through the corrupted simulation - a shared trajectory that binds the deathmatch's participants through their collective pursuit of stable rendering.
