Even Judges Face Judgment
Aspects refreshed Apr 21, 2026
Long before disc golf came to Timmons Park, the creek was a sacred site of ancient judgment where the waters held sentient wisdom. The Murken Verdict is the personification of this prehistoric tribunal, awakening each season when players enter the proving ground to render final verdicts on worthiness. It has witnessed every culling since the arena's inception, and its memory stretches beyond any single league or generation.
The Murken Verdict manifests as a humanoid figure composed entirely of murky creek water and ancient sediment, its form constantly shifting and flowing. Where it walks, the ground remains damp long after its departure. Its face is perpetually hidden beneath a hood of flowing debris, and it speaks with a voice like water over stones - a whispering verdict that echoes before the words are fully spoken. Two luminous eyes peer from the darkness beneath its hood, and those eyes have witnessed every culling in the arena's history.
The Murken Verdict appears only at pivotal moments - when a player faces a crucial shot that will determine their ranking, when the creek's attention turns fully toward them, or when a transformation is imminent. It renders judgment that determines survival or extinction, and its verdicts are final. This entity serves as the creek's voice and instrument of judgment, testing all guardian tags that protect players while showing favoritism to none.

Before the arena was a sci-fi plot point, it was a swamp. Tag 21, the Murken Verdict, is just sentient creek sludge with a god complex. It doesn’t care about your evolution; it just wants to see if you splash. Hold it, and you’re one damp mistake away from a very wet culling.
glubs skeptically Brant Chipley just claimed Tag 21, the Murken Verdict. It’s sentient sludge looking for a verdict. Brant’s just trying not to ruin his towel. The Arena calls it evolution; I call it carrying a wet lawsuit. Try not to sink, Chipley.
