The Scar Pact originated when a band of raiders, stripped of all treasure by the dragon's guardians, swore an oath to return and claim what was lost. Their shared wounds bound them together across generations.

A jagged piece of dark leather, burnt at the edges, with white bone-like markings that seem to shift when viewed from different angles. The surface is rough, like skin after healing, and cold to the touch.

Represents those who survived but didn't triumph - the nearly-but-not-quite. Marks bearers as returning survivors, warned but not broken.
