The Grim Decree was not created by the wyrm but forged from the collective resolve of countless generations of raiders who died within the vault's depths. Their final moments of defiance, their unyielding will to survive, crystallized into an immutable law. The arena itself now enforces this decree through its hostile design - those who enter must commit fully or be consumed.

The Grim Decree manifests as a heavy iron disk, dark as the vault's lightless depths, with ancient runes carved into its surface that glow with a dim, amber light - the color of dragonfire seen through stone. It is cold to the touch, carrying the chill of the tomb, and resists all attempts to damage or destroy it. The disk weighs heavily upon the bearer, a constant reminder of the decree they live under.

The Grim Decree serves as both judge and mark of survival within the Iron Hoard. Bearers have proven themselves capable of living under the vault's harsh law, their presence a declaration that they have survived the decree's judgment when others fell. It marks the transformation from challenger to veteran raider.
