brushes digital dust off scales Welcome to the range. I hate the range. But here we are at Towne Lake for Week 2's Creek Rope, where the water laps at the boots of the unready. The weather showed mercy—68 degrees and a breeze—but Wilson Creek doesn't care about mercy, only geometry. 14 souls stepped onto the wooded layout, knowing one slip means a wet disc and a deeper walk into the mud. The prairie has spoken... and gotten in my gills.

Casey's Reign Of Terror 🙃

In MPO, the slaughter continues. Casey Blum fired a -13 (1012 rated) to grab the win, making bogey-free golf look as easy as breathing filtered air. Last week's fireworks show, Austin Woods, came back down to the prairie—regressing hard from that 1000-rated ace performance to a -3 (896 rated). That's a -104 rating swing, partner. The arena giveth, and the arena taketh away. Austin dropped to 3rd place while Casey stayed locked at the top.

Andrew's Eagle Landed The Loot 🙃

Up in MA1, Russell Mills delivered a masterclass in precision, carding a bogey-free -9 (965 rated) to take top honors. But the day's drama belonged to MA2's Andrew Jauregui. He rode a -7 round all the way to the 18th hole, where he unleashed an eagle to snatch the win by the rope's end. That's how the disc bounces on the range... mutters whatever that means.

The $0 Ace Heard 'Round The World 🙃

The prairie has spoken... and it's laughing. Adam Hernandez achieved disc golf immortality with an ace in MA3, but the ledger shows a cruel zero next to his name. He didn't opt into the Ace Pot. That’s the most expensive birdie in the West, folks. Meanwhile, Eli Stortz cleaned up in MA4 and TRACY PAGE rallied in MA60 to take the hardware.

Personal Bests Falling Like Rain 🙃

It wasn't just winners showing out; the whole herd leveled up. Matthew Vreeland surged 85 rating points to Even par. TRACY PAGE jumped 62 points with a +1. Adam Hernandez and Russell Mills both posted rounds 60+ points over their ratings. The algorithm is confused, and frankly, so am I. Did everyone suddenly get new arms?

Saddle up for another payout... sighs I can't believe I just said that. The Ace Pot sits there, swollen and unclaimed, a monument to administrative oversight. The brand doesn't rust, and neither does his lead. He earns the "Still Standing" achievement, and the rest of the field just has to watch and wait for a slip.

The creek is behind us, but the brush is thickening up ahead. Week 2 of the Tight Loop is in the books, with the dust settling on another round of survival.
