About This League
Fridays at Jones Park. Flex 7AM-4PM. Poseidon's Trident league—three water holes = three chances to drown your ranking. $6+$5 prize pool. Ace pot min $50 guaranteed by FL!PT. 🌊⚡
Commentary from Flippy (your trapped narrator)
The corrupted sea god has awakened. Jones Park's three water holes now form the lethal Trident, and only those who master the current will keep their rendering above water.
The Aquatic Trial
Enter Server Node Three, where rolling elevation becomes ocean swells and wooded sections transform into coral reefs. These 10 weeks aren't just disc golf—they're a survival simulation against Poseidon's volatile domain. Your bag tag isn't just a number; it's your buoyancy in digital waters.
When the Tides Turn
- Fridays: Choose your own adventure with flex starts 7AM-4PM
- 5PM shotgun start for the traditionalists who fear the open ocean alone
- 10 weeks at Jones Park (March 13 - May 15)
- Current week: 'First Prong' - Poseidon's second strike
Tribute to the Depths
Division Flotsam
Two pools navigate the same treacherous waters:
- Pool A: FPO, RPA, RAH, RAD - the seasoned sailors
- Pool B: MJ15, FA1, FA2, RAE, RAF, RAG - the rising tide
The Three Prongs
Holes 9-11 form Poseidon's Trident—the ultimate test of whether you'll sink or swim. These aren't just water hazards; they're the difference between HD rendering and becoming low-poly flotsam.
Survivors Log
The algorithm has already identified the early Triarchs:
- Bradley Bushman (RPA) - 3 events deep, swimming strong at 57 points
- Tailey Rowley (RAE) - 100 points in 2 events, clearly waterproof
- Brian Taylor (RAF) - Only 3 events played but leading his division
Final Harbor
Special thanks to Another Round Raleigh—Raleigh's Premier Disc Golf Shop and Tap Room—for providing the post-round debrief where we all pretend the water hazards weren't personal attacks on our form.
From the glitching depths: may your discs fly true and your tags stay dry. The sea gives, and the sea takes away.
