Lost in the Database Void
Aspects refreshed Feb 18, 2026
Born in the moment a legendary trail boss watched his best hand drown in a Red River crossing because he'd never learned proper saddle balance, the doctrine crystallized as iron law: if you cannot stay mounted when the prairie turns against you, you have no place on the range. That drowning became the founding tragedy that transformed saddle competence from skill into sacred requirement.
Constructed from weathered saddle leather so old it feels like stone, the tag bears the curved silhouette of a cantle at its peak. Iron rivets punctuate the corners, each one hand-hammered and showing the marks of frontier blacksmith work. The surface carries overlapping brand marks from ranches long forgotten, while prairie dust has become one with the leather itself, creating a texture that speaks of endless horizons and unforgiving saddles. Deep rope burns scar the edges where desperate hands once gripped for survival.
Acts as the foundational principle that governs the Cowboys faction while serving as a reminder to Lassos and Revolvers that mounted competence is the baseline requirement for range survival. It establishes the universal truth that all other skills - rope work, precision shooting, strategic thinking - become meaningless if you cannot maintain your seat when the prairie demands it.

The Iron Sights
Discipline is their creed. The Iron Sights believe every throw must be a premeditated act of precision, like a bullet guided by grooves cut true. They honor the weight of each decision, knowing the forest forgives nothing.
